Långt ute på Nordatlanten, på ö, lokaliserade vi ett berguvspar som satt uppe i en rasbrant. Med hjälp av tubkikaren lyckades vi senare lokalisera uvparets borede, som låg på en klipphylla. Först när ungen började vandra runt på klipphyllan upptäckte jag ett rötägg, som låg där. Genom att låta ägget bli huvudobjektet i kompositionen fick bilden det innehåll jag önskade.

On an island, far out in the North Atlantic, we located a pair of mountain olwes sitting out on a precipice. With the help of the binoculars, we later managed to locate their nest, which were on a rock shelf. Only when the youngster started walking around on the rock shelf did I discover a rotten egg, which was lying there. By letting the egg become the main object in the composition, the image got the content I wanted.
